Angela Eagle is the Environment secretary and will attend cabinet.

She comes into the fray amid wildfires in France, Spain and Scotland. How will she tackle climate change in the UK and on the global warming stage? One thing is for sure, the UK, like most other countries, have left it a bit late. The answer is surely an immediate move to a hydrogen economy. Most cars with a little modification can use hydrogen in one form or another, in internal combustion and diesel engines - and in electric vehicles.

Perhaps the government think tanks should have funded SmartNet when they had the chance. The all in one solution for a renewable energy Grid. Pity! The brains behind that initiative is now retired and fed up with the sloth and lack of imagination of the bean counters who dream up competitions to fund innovation, basically, minor improvements, to the existing grid, that is in any event owned by foreign investors. Much as with drones in the military, the British are way behind the curve. An Empire doomed to controlled diminishment, and quick fixes

We think that Cabinet Members are advised or briefed by GCHQ and MI5, especially those sitting on the National Security Council (NSC). A particularly interesting situation, where deliberately, there are few paper communications, so that ministers can deny knowledge of issues (plausible deniability). It's all very Mission Impossible stuff, hoisting the flag for conspiracy theories, once the lack transparency and accountability becomes an issue. Such as with the GOV.ONE LOGIN scandal, currently on track to become the third Horizon Post Office, debacle, after the NHS infected blood cover up.

We wonder what the postal address is for GOV.ONE LOGIN, their telephone number to speak to a person in authority, and who that person with the authority to make corrections and issue missing PIN numbers, might be? It is alleged this so-called department does not exist, except in the imaginations of those ministers and boffins, who are trying to remove paper safeguards, and transparency, to create an Orwellian (George Orwell) state. A cyber attack nightmare in the making.

Institutional musical chairs. That may be how the public see the shuffling and re-shuffling of the Cabinets over the years. One thing is for sure, GCHQ, MI5, and MI6 will be advising the various departments, not to admit to miscarriages of justice, that might rock their tenure. Not unless absolutely necessary. This was the same for previous Cabinets, it is nothing new. Labour, Conservative, or even Reform. Never mind an innocent man may have been wrongly convicted. The Andrew Malkinson case is just the tip of the iceberg. Will Dame Vera Baird KC make any difference at the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC)? That remains to be seen. For sure the Sexual Offences Act 2003, should be reviewed for Article 13 compliance, along with the Human Rights Act 1998. What kind of conspiracy of silence might this be, allegedly?
