Lord Richard Hermer KC - Attorney General

RICHARD HERMER KC

Richard Hermer KC, the Attorney General, was a surprise appointment and is not an elected MP, made a peer to take the attending Cabinet role.

Mr Hermer was a barrister at Matrix chambers, a set co-founded by Sir Tony Blair’s wife Cherie.

He acted for over 900 victims in the Grenfell Tower disaster, and also on behalf of children unlawfully held in immigration detention centres.

There are many pressing issues that Lord Hermer is facing, not least of which is the corruption in the police and CPS, and the use of public money by councils to pursue SLAPP actions illegally, since institutionalised vendettas should be prohibited to protect such victims of agendas designed to silence critics. Constituting malfeasance in public office, and typically involving conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Conspiracy becomes an issue where more than one person agrees to support another in the commission of an indictable offence. The crime of conspiracy (Criminal Law Act 1977) is given greater significance where a police officer or officers, work with council officers to hide misuse of public office, such as a failure to investigate a reported crime, and the expenditure of the public purse, to effectively whitewash crime. In this case the fact that reported crimes were not investigated. Indeed, it is alleged that a letter was read out at a Full Committee meeting, exonerating Wealden's planning and legal officers, that letter written on blank headed paper supplied by Sussex police, but actually written by Wealden's officers, with Sussex police going along with the deception.

Local authorities appear to work in tandem with banks to crush legitimate investigation, closing accounts, as they did with Nigel Farage. This practice must be outlawed and made illegal. The agenda would be to target an individual using all agencies, the aim being to make their life intolerable, and so dissuade them from continuing with investigations.

These tactics were used by the Post Office in the Horizon scandal, to include prosecuting innocent victims, who maintained their innocence, despite the CCRC refusing to properly investigate their complaints, not until there was television coverage and a petition. Sussex police and Wealden District Council are known to pursue such agendas. Especially where crimes were reported to them in 1997, but have so far not been investigated. SLAPP actions were used to get rid of persistent activists, branding them serial complainers - in hope they would or will expire from mental torture, that is of course unlawful as per Article 3 of the Human Rights Act 1998.

There is no statute of limitations on such crimes. Justice that is selective, is not justice.
